Montague----Jimmy M. Hastings, 42, of Randall Rd. died Wednesday 1-11-17 at home unexpectedly.  He was born in Springfield April 8, 1974.

Jimmy attended Turners Falls and Northfield MT Herman Schools. He excelled in electronics. Jim was a  19 year member of the Montague Elks Lodge #2521. Jimmy enjoyed playing video games with his pride and joy, his son Kyle.

He leaves his son Kyle D Hasting of Holyoke, his parents Kevin and Judy (Jock) Hastings of Montague and his sister Jeannine Huey and a nephew Dmitri Huey both of Pittsfield and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service will be held Saturday 1-21-17 at 10 AM at Our Lady of Peace Church 90 Seventh St. with Rev. Stanley J. Aksamit pastor officiating.

There are no calling hours. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Kyle Decker Hastings Fund C/O  Franklin First Credit Union 57 Newton St. Greenfield, MA. 01301.
