She was a wonderful lady, a delightful conversationalist (while she still could), and a dear friend. I feel a sad sense of personal loss, although I knew her for only a relatively short time. I miss her.

I was sorry to see Pokeys orbit in the paper today. What a wonderful write up about her and her life. She was a truly very special lady and I know she will be missed by you all. Reading about her accomplishments I could not help but think of how Kay and Carrol would be of her.

I just wanted to send a note of condolence to you all. I did not know Damon long, but in a few short weeks, I came to enjoy our chats. When I read her complete obit I was awed by her life accomplishments. She was very blessed to have her friends and family by her side and to be able to celebrate her last birthday with those she loved.
