Welcome to the memorial page for

Carol Bryant

January 11, 2017

Greenfield- Carol Ann Bryant, 79, of Lincoln Street passed at her home surrounded by family and friends Wednesday (1-11-17) at 12:25 am.  Just think, Carol was not here by chance, but by God's choosing. His hands formed her and made her the person she was. He compared her to no one else as she was one of a kind. She lacked nothing that his grace could not give her. He allowed her to be on this earth at this time in history to fulfill His special purpose for this generation and those to come. He called Carol home once this purpose was filled.

She was born in Brattleboro, Vermont July 28, 1937, the daughter of Ralph and Irene Scopa. Carol spent her life serving and taking care of others.  Carol married Raymond F. Bryant in 1955 at St. Mary's Parish in Turners Falls.  She began her family life in 1956 while building and operating Ye Minute Man Dinner for 14 years, The Clam Shack for 27 years, Grumpy's for 10 years and the Hat Trick Snack Shop for 14 years.

Carol was a lady of many talents which included singing in the choir, weddings and funerals and was a member of the Follies for a number of years.

Survivors include her children, Jeff and his wife Linda, Michael and his wife Shauna, Tim, Shellie, Joel, Jeremy and his wife Kellie, Patty and her partner Rod.  Carol celebrated her life with so many grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. This does not include the 8 years she raised 68 foster children.
