Turners Falls - John L. Jackson, 50, of Montague City Road died Saturday 11/25/17 at home.  He was born in Greenfield on April 5, 1967, the son of Leslie “Shorty” and Nancy (Baker) Jackson.  John was a graduate of the Franklin County Technical School in Turners Falls.

He was last employed at WTE Recycling in Greenfield.  Prior to that he was employed by Hardigg Industries, Heat Fab and Rice’s Ice.

John enjoyed Star Wars and Star Trek.

Besides his parents, Leslie “Shorty” and Nancy, John leaves a sister, Lorie Johnson of Greenfield; a brother, Shane Jackson of Turners Falls; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be private.  Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

There will be no calling hours.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
