I have fond memeroies of Stanley while he was an undertaker at Higgins Funeral home on Grove Street Orange,Ma. My grandfathers funeral was there on a hot summers day and Stanley asked all the men to remove their jackets. This was August 1948. Stanley and his wife were wonderful people. Barbera would not remember me in all these years.
I lived on Holtshire Road when they closed the funeral home and Stanley and his family moved to Greenfield. He and Barbera were wonderful people. I am 92 now, but remember many happenings over the years.

You are thinking of the other Stanley Holmes who died quite a few years ago. It was funny (and sometimes) not so but he and his wife moved to the same neighborhood where my folks lived and there was a quite a bit of mail mix-up. Shirley Holmes (daughter)

Dear Shirley
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this sad time. The obituary was very special to read.
I remember so well the times after symphony concerts when the Sigda's, your parents and I had social time together. That was fun. Memories are a wonderful gift in sad times.
