WARWICK — Martin T. Seago, 12, of Richmond Road died Saturday (3-4-2017) at home as a result of a house fire.
He was born on July 31, 2004 in Groton, MA , the son of Scott and Lucinda (Potts) Seago.
Martin was a seventhgrade student at Pioneer Valley Regional School.
He enjoyed origami, math and computer games.
Martin was an altar server at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church in Turners Falls.
Among his survivors, Martin leaves his father, Scott Seago; a sister, Vivian Seago; his maternal grandparents, David and Melida Potts of Atlanta, GA; his paternal grandparents, Robert and Carol Seago of Houston, TX; two aunts, Susan James and Susan Burkhalter and two cousins, Adriana James and Abigail Burkhalter.
A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held Saturday 3/ 11 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 84 K Street, Turners Falls with the Abbott Xavier Connelly celebrant and the Rev. Sean O’Mannion as homilist. Burial will follow at the parish cemetery in Turners Falls.
A reception will be held after services at the cemetery at 12:30 p.m. at the Warwick Community School, 41 Winchester Road, Warwick.
Calling hours will be held Friday evening from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Kostanski Funeral Home, 1 Kostanski Square, Turners Falls.
