My sympathy and thoughts are with you. I didn't know Janice well but when I worked at CDH, she always went out of her way to be helpful. I remember her smile, her positive, thoughtful caring attitude with the patients she cared for and the staff she worked with. I am sorry for your loss.

I was so sadden to read that you have left us. Like many, I was unaware of your illness. I swear, I saw you 6 weeks ago. Your spirit was bright as was your smile and you were admired by many. You were at my first half marathon and were such an inspiration. You ran with such ease. And you helped me through A&P!! Indeed, a remarkable person. My condolences to your family and loved ones. You are missed.

To Janice's family, I am so saddened by your loss, it is a loss for everyone, she was an inspiration, with her service ( As a nurse for many years) and as a mother and grandmother, and i'm sure aunt, and as a friend. I considered Janice a friend even though we were not very close. We raised our children at a young age across the street from each other. I had tremendous respect for this woman and always felt her great kindness towards me and my family. I felt the same towards her and her's. This carried through our adulthood and the blessing of having our grandchildren. I'm sorry I did not see her very much in the past few years, but she was always in my heart. I wish you all courage through your time if sorrow. Bruce, I know we never met, but I had heard so many wonderful things about you. So sorry for your loss.

Sincerely with all my deepest heartfelt, sadness, sorrow and hope and love.

Carol Marchefka

I never actually spoke with Janice but I saw her many mornings at the Body Shoppe as her runner group would hang out after their run. She was a bright light shining among her dearest friends. For me and many others, that gathering was a reminder of how precious life is and to the beauty of taking care of oneself. During the year before she died she continued to run until finally she had to stop. Her love of life continued until the end. I am so sad that she is no longer with us. I send my deepest condolences to her family, friends, and to her running group. Chris (Kiffer) Sikes.

Kristina and all of your family: I had not known your mom was ill and so the obituary in yesterday's Recorder shocked me. I could not believe it. I will keep fond memories of her leading spinning classes, her enormous energy and strength, her great music selections and her constant joy. I feel luck to have known her, however superficially it was. My deepest sympathy to you too. I can only imagine what a loss it must be for you. With much love, Larry
