Chris, Lauri and Family, our deepest sympathies go out to all of you at this difficult time. You have had a painful journey through your Dad's illness and passing. Though we never had the pleasure of meeting Mr. LaChance, just knowing Chris and Lauri tells us he was a wonderful man. May memories of the good life he lived bring you comfort and peace. We will be keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Ronnie and family,
I was so sorry to hear of Don's passing. Don welcomed me to the NMH community years ago and I so appreciated his smile and willingness to stop and have a chat before getting back to work. I loved running into Don at the Gill fire department every election day and have missed that since moving to Bernardston. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

My best, Margaret van Baaren

I will always remember Don's great laugh and how he could tell great stories. He always had me laughing. I would looked forward to working on projects with him at NMH because he was just such a great person to be around. . One year he got me a hard hat with "Ma Bell" written across the front. He was a kind person and a hard worker. Everyone respected him and knew that if he was in charge of something it was done right. I will always smile when I think of Don because he was one of the best.

Our deepest condolences for your loss. Don was one of the first staff members I met upon my arrival to NMH in 1980. Through the years I would haunt the Physical Plant in my dual role, as a member of the faculty & liaison for new construction projects on both campuses. Don offered help, advise, strong opinion &, always, a sense of irony & good humor finished with a slight smile. A man of a large voice & presence, he gave much of himself to all who came into his sphere. He cared & made this place a much better one by it. Rest now. Our unabiding strength to Ronnie & all of Don's family.

Ronnie and family,
So sorry to hear this very sad news. I was one of the many lucky ones that got to work with Don at NMH. To this day he still brings a smile to my face when I think of him. He will be missed by many. Sending love to you all. -Diane

Dear Ronnie and Family,
I am saddened for your loss. I remember how happy you were when you met Don, the love of your life. We were both young and in love and eager to start our own families. We worked together a short while at my Mom's Boutique in Greenfield and I cherished your warm friendship at that time and I have never forgotten you. Our cherished memories are Gods gift to us. Sincerest condolences to you and your dear family.

Ronnie & Family, we are so sorry to hear about Don passing away. The world has lost a wonderful, kind man with a great smile and sense of humor who obviously loved you all very much. It is amazing how the spirit of a person can touch you so graciously, even if you don't see them frequently. We are thinking of you and praying for all of you in your time of grief and loss. Love, Liz and Kathleen

I am sorry to hear of Don's passing -- worked with him for many years along with Billy Baker and Mac McCollester, and Lee Hosley. He gave a lot to NMH in his years there. We are thinking of all you in the days ahead.

Dear Ronnie, Mike, Sue, Christopher, and Lori,
On behalf of my family and also on behalf of NMH, please let me express my deepest sympathies at the passing of Don. Although I did not have the opportunity to meet or know him, I have heard so many wonderful things about him since our arrival at NMH. We are also blessed to be currently living in the house where your family also lived while at NMH. Please know that we are thinking of you and holding you in our prayers.
Sincerely,
Lee-Ellen
