Virginia (Gray) James

Virginia (Gray) James, 81, of Federal Street, Millers Falls died Monday 10/18/21 at the Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. She was born in Springfield, MA on February 19, 1940, the daughter of George and Sadie (Brazil) Gray. 
Virginia was a Nurse at the Poet’s Seat Health Care Center in Greenfield. She had worked in the cafeteria at local schools.
She enjoyed creating diamond paintings, reading and camping.
Besides her beloved husband of sixty years, Walter A. James, Virginia leaves a son, Walter W. James and his wife Donna of Chicopee; two daughters, Charlene James and Pamela Wilder, both of Northfield; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two brothers, Terry Gray and his wife Mary of Greenfield and Jimmy Gray of Onset MA; and several nieces and nephews.
Virginia was predeceased by her parents and a sister, Shirley Jew.
A celebration of Life will be held Saturday 11/13 at 1:00 PM at the Covenant Church, 19 Bridge Street, Millers Falls, Ma with a luncheon to follow.  Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
There will be no calling hours.
