Tamara “Tammy” Kathryn Kais (Wojick), 86, formerly of Greenfield, MA, originally from New Jersey passed away peacefully on 2/18/2025.

Tammy was born in NJ on 11/1/38 to Tom and Kay (Ziegler) Wojick.  Tammy and her brother Thomas lived happily among family and friends in Robling.

Tammy was married to Joseph J. Kais and together they had four children; Lisa, Debbie, Joey and Matt.

Tammy was an incredible artist and homemaker.  She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends.  Tammy and Joe moved to Greenfield in 1976, from Salem, NH.  While in Greenfield, Tammy worked for Phoenix Mutual, Sigda Flowers and Wilson’s Department Store, from where she retired.

Tammy had a wonderful circle of friends and a great, dry sense of humor.  You could always find her cooking, painting, or crocheting.  She could always be counted on to fill a room with love and laughter.  She will be incredibly missed.

Tammy is predeceased by her parents, her brother Thomas and her eldest daughter Lisa Anne Kais.

Tammy leaves behind her children; Lisa’s husband, Chubby Landry, Deborah Kais and her partner Michael Jobst of Williamsburg, MA, Joseph J. Kais and his wife Terry of Fairfield, CT, Matthew T. Kais of Sandwich, MA, and her daughter in law Dori Haetinger.  She also leaves behind 7 grandchildren; Ryan, Ashley, Emily, Natalie, Grace, Madison and Nick. Five great grandchildren: Alexys, Montreil, Thomas, Mary and Tammy; and two great great grandchildren, Kailani and Kais. Tammy also leaves behind many beloved friends and her beloved dog Louie. 

A Celebration of Life will be held in the Spring/Summer of 2025.
