Susan T. (Tiller) Howarth, 72, of Schoolhouse Road died Sunday 8/18/24 at the Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. She was born in Kentucky on May 19, 1952, the daughter of Robert S. and Margaret (Powell) Tiller.
Susan went to Southern Connecticut State College and has a 6th year degree in teaching.
Susan was a fourth-grade teacher at the Bingham School in Bristol, CT for thirty-five years before her retirement.
Susan was member of the Council on Aging in Leyden for over ten years and a volunteer at the Baystate Franklin Medical Center in Greenfield. Susan was an avid flower gardener and loved spending hours tending to her gardens.
Besides her beloved husband of twenty-eight years, William Howarth. She also leaves a niece, Kelli Gorman.
Susan is predeceased by her sister Salli Gorman.
Services will be held at a later date and time to be announced.
