Steven P. Clarke, 55, of Log Plain Rd. died Thursday (3-11-21) at Baystate Franklin Medical Center.
He was born September 22, 1965 in Greenfield the son of F. Peter and Linda (Girard) Clarke.
Steve attended local schools and graduated from Franklin County Technical School class of 1984. He was a machinist for various paper companies in the area.
Steve enjoyed spending time with his son Michael, going to the movies with John, playing poker with all the guys in Lake Pleasant, and spending time at the farm with his brother Mike, Ralph, Nick and the gang. He always had an ear to lend when anyone needed to talk and he prided himself on being a faithful friend to all regardless of who they were or what they were doing in life. You could always count on him to have the weather report readily available! Steve had a deep love for his son Michael as well as Michael's girlfriend Michaela. Even though they lived many miles apart they were involved in each other's lives daily.
Steve leaves his father F. Peter Clarke of Greenfield, his son Michael S. Clarke and his girlfriend Michaela of Peabody MA, his brother Michael W. Clarke of Turners Falls and two nephews Andrew Clarke and Derek Johnson. He also leaves behind Michael's mother Leanne Unaitis.
The family would like to take this opportunity to thank Nick and all those who were there when Steve passed. Please know you did everything you possibly could and the family is forever grateful.
Steve was predeceased by his mother Linda in 2017.
