Sharon L. (Ambrose) Andrews

Sharon Louise (Ambrose) Andrews, 78, died Tuesday 10/10/23 at the Charlene Manor Extended Care Facility in Greenfield. She was born on December 18, 1944, in Winchendon, MA, the daughter of William J. Ambrose and Evelyn (Robichaud) Niedzwiecki. Sharon attended local schools in Turners Falls and was a graduate of Turners Falls High School Class of 1963. Sharon continued her education, attending Northampton Commercial College.

Sharon was a premium auditor for various insurance companies for many years until her retirement. She was a resident of Turners Falls for most of her life, and a communicant of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, where she was the organist and choir director for over twenty five years. Sharon had a passion for music, was past president of St. Cecelia’s Choir, and in 1983 she produced a musical variety show for the famine in Ethiopia.

Sharon was a devote Catholic, loved spending time with her family, going to the Cape and watching the Patriots. Among her survivors, Sharon leaves a son, Michael W. Grybko and his wife Patricia of Orange, MA; a daughter, Lori Keniston and her husband Carl of Greenfield; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

A Memorial Mass will be held Friday 10/20 at 10am at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 84 K Street, Turners Falls. Burial will follow at the parish cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
