Sandra I. (Majewski) Ward, 76, of Federal Street died Wednesday 9/29/21 at home. She was born in Lewiston, ME on July 20, 1945, the daughter of Walter and Gertrude (Grenier) Majewski. She attended local schools in Greenfield and was a graduate of Greenfield High School, Class of 1963.
Sandra was a machine operator at the Montgomery Rose Company, retiring in 1999. Prior to that, she worked at the Shady Glen and the Renovator’s Supply Company in Millers Falls.
Sandra enjoyed doing crafts, playing Bingo and going on Casino trips. She was an avid New England Patriots fan.
Among her survivors, Sandra leaves her beloved husband of 21 years, James Ward; a son, Michael G. Richotte of Greenfield; a step daughter, Tammy McNeiece of Narragansett, RI; a step son, James Ward; a sister, Linda Walsh of Greenfield; and two grandchildren, Justin Richotte of Easthampton, MA and Jessica Richotte of Jacksonville, FL.
She was predeceased by a son, Timothy Richotte.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday 10/5 at 11am at Plainview Cemetery in Leverett.
A calling hour will be held Tuesday morning from 9:30am to 10:30am at the Kostanski Funeral Home, 1 Kostanski Square, Turners Falls.
