Sally C. (Reynolds) Pollard

Sally Catherine Pollard, 61, of Highland Ave died of a heart attack Monday (1-11-21) at Baystate Franklin Medical Center in Greenfield. She was born in Athol August 24, 1959 the daughter of Thomas Reynolds and Rita (Albert, Reynolds) Barnes.

Sally attended local schools and graduated from Mahar Regional High School. She raised three wonderful children that she was very proud of and dearly loved. Sally worked in the food service industry before her last job at Life Skills in Greenfield, were it gave her great joy to care for her clients and had an impact on everyone she worked with.

Sally loved spending time with her family and puttering around the house. The holidays were her favorite time as she would be cooking, decorating and watching Christmas movies. Her favorite place to be was her beautiful garden and is where you would find her on nice days.

Sally and Brian met in high school and were married on June 3, 1978. They enjoyed 42 incredible years together, anyone could see it was a marriage that renewed itself daily.

Sally presented a special light in us all that still shines strong only higher in the sky.

Besides everyone she met, Sally leaves her husband Brian, daughter Kelly Pollard (Israel), son Matthew Pollard (Erving), and Evan Pollard (Erving). Siblings Gary Reynolds (West Virginia), Colleen Roberts (Washington), Mike Reynolds (New Hampshire), and Denise Reitzel (Shutesbury).  Brothers-in-law Edward Pollard (Erving), Kenneth Pollard (New Hampshire), a special love for Bruce Pollard (Erving). Very special friends Paula (Erving), Dianne and Ed (Gill).

Memorial contributions in Sally’s name may be sent to a local charity of your choice.

Calling hours will be held on Monday 1/25/21 from 4-6pm at Kostanski Funeral Home, 220 Federal St. Greenfield, MA.

Her wishes are to be cremated and burial will be at Erving Center Cemetery in the Spring.
