Russell A. Tiffany, 77, formerly of Hallstead, PA went home to be with the Lord Saturday 6/12/21 at the Baystate Franklin Medical Center in Greenfield. He was born in Brooklyn, PA on June 13, 1943, the son of Anson and L.Marie (Potter) Tiffany. Russell attended Mountain View Schools, KIngsley, PA and continued his education receiving his Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from SUNY Binghamton.
Russell was an electrical engineer for York International, York, PA.
Russell served in the U.S Army and was a veteran of the Korea Defense. He also served in the U.S. Army Reserves. He enjoyed serving at his local church, was an active member of the Gideons, and spending time of late with his friend, Dennis Jacobs.
Among his survivors, Russell leaves his beloved wife of fifty four years, Yung Sook (Kim) Tiffany; two daughters, Michele Hoddy and her husband John of Lynchburg, VA and Heather Oldford and her husband Steven of Turners Falls; two sisters, Marilyn Klimcho and her husband Pat of Reading, PA and Sylvia Morra and her husband Dan of Middletown, PA; three granddaughters, Lily, Elena and Rosalie; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be held Saturday 6/19 at 11am at Moore’s Corner Church, Church Road, Leverett. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
