Rose E. Louden, 94, passed away Friday August 23, 2024 at Regal Care. She was born in Greenfield July 16, 1930 the daughter of John and Julia (Valentine) Zon. Rose was a long life resident of Greenfield having attended local schools and graduated from Greenfield High School Class of 1948. She was a computer operator for Greenfield Tap and Die for 10 years then went to work at the Salvation Army for another 10 years retiring in 1992.

Rose enjoyed bowling, boating, archery, hunting, fishing, flower gardening traveling and cooking. She was a member of the Historical Society of Greenfield, American Legion Women’s Auxiliary and the former Greenfield Senior Center, (now the John Zon Community Center, named after her brother).

Rose leaves her son James and his wife Ann of Greenfield, a granddaughter Alyssa Louden and several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents Rose was predeceased by her brothers John and Charles Zon.

A graveside service will be held Thursday August 29, 2024 at 11 AM at Calvary Cemetery, Wisdom Way in Greenfield.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the John Zon Community Center 35 Pleasant St. Greenfield, MA. 01301
