Ronald P. Kennedy, 65, of Park Villa Apartments passed away Friday (6-3-22) at Greenfield Rehabilitation Center. He was born in Montague on June 13, 1956, the son of Eugene and Norma (Carignan) Kennedy.
Ron attended local schools and graduated from TFHS in 1974. After high school, he enlisted in the US Army. He was honorably discharged in 1976.
Ron used to be a dishwasher/bouncer for Williams Tavern.
He was proud to be the drummer in the family band called The Kennedy Klan. He loved the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. Ron loved Denny’s Restaurant and the waitresses there as well as his close friends Fred, Linda D. and Jean at Park Villa. He enjoyed word search puzzles.
Ron leaves his sisters; Deborah Gooch, Diana Rhynehart (Larry), Darlene Amatruda (Ed) and Charlene Cloutier (Phil) who was his care giver. Ron also leaves his son, Steven Kennedy, his daughter Melissa Gleason and grandson Jeremiah Kennedy and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Besides his parents and grandparents Ron was predeceased by his brother Eugene (Buddy) Kennedy III and his brother in-law Robert Gooch.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
