Robert Francis Tobin

Robert Francis Tobin, beloved husband of late wife Deborah Darlene (Denno) Tobin for 37 years, passed away peacefully on Wednesday November 13, 2024, at the age of 72 years old, after a short illness. He was born in Northampton, Mass., on September 16, 1952, to the late Francis and Irene Tobin. Robert was a 1970 graduate of Northampton High School and received his bachelor’s degree at The University of Massachusetts. He worked at Stop n Shop for 52 years, retiring in 2020 as a grocery manager.

He was married in 1972 and raised his family. He fulfilled his lifelong dream of moving to Florida. He is survived by his six children, Eric, Gavin, Kyle, Kelly St. Hilaire, Ashley Lunt and Ryan Tobin; 18 grandchildren; and his sister Barbara Van Mourik. He loved the ocean, playing pickleball, watching football, playing darts and hanging out with his friends at the pool. He will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him. 

A “Celebration of Life & Memorial Service” will be held on Saturday December 7, 2024, from 11:00AM-3:00PM., at The French King Restaurant, 159 French King Hwy, Erving, MA.
