David, I’m so sorry for the loss of your brother Ray. I had the HONOR to know him for the past 16 years of his life. I remember how he shared stories of you and he exploring and camping the woods behind your house with a group of neighborhood friends, when life was simpler back then and fond memories of your time together as a family. Ray had many challenges, but had an incredible attitude of acceptance. He had many, many hobbies throughout the years and spent hours researching and enjoying them. His character was one in which he was extremely thoughtful about the words he would say to others, never wanting to hurt them with something he may say. He made long, lasting, trusting connections with others and thoroughly enjoyed their company, conversation and advice. Toward the last 2 years, he felt a sense of deep peace with himself and others through his relationship with Jesus and chose to be baptized despite pandemic challenges. Ray will be sorely missed by all who knew him and his memory will carry on in the many lives he touched.
