Pauline (Bordeaux) Sabine

Pauline E. (Bordeaux) Sabine, 92, of Erving, MA died August 1, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.  She was a resident of RegalCare in Greenfield. 
She was born in Gill, daughter of Alfred and Beatrice (Cote) Bordeaux.  She was the oldest child of ten children. 
She is predeceased by her loving husband of 69 years, John E. Sabine, and their son James (Jay) Sabine.  She is also predeceased by her siblings, Alice Cloutier, Laurie Fydenkevez, Sylvia Mercier, Ginger Jobst, Priscilla Bezio, Phillip Bordeaux, and Donald Bordeaux. 
She leaves her children, Tina Sibley and her husband Myron of West Brookfield, Michael Sabine and his wife Kimbra of Fort Ann, NY, Anne Zunich, and her husband Ronald of Turners Falls, Lisa Lucier and her husband Gerald of Greenfield; Sixteen grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. 
Pauline was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  She loved family gatherings and really enjoyed cooking for everyone. She enjoyed family vacations at Lake Willoughby, Ocean Park Maine, and trips to Hunter Mountain. She enjoyed her flower gardens and canning from her vegetable gardens.  Her homemade jellies, jams and baked goods were enjoyed by many family members, friends, and neighbors. She enjoyed crocheting and made many treasured crochet blankets for all her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. 
Funeral services will be held Tuesday 8/8/23 at 10:00am at the Kostanski Funeral Home, 1 Kostanski Square Turners Falls, MA 01376.  Burial will follow at Central Cemetery in Erving. 
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Relay for Life - Franklin County at relayforlife.org/franklincountyma.
