Pauline P. (Pos) Klepadlo, 80, of Prospect St. passed away Friday December 1, 2023 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. She was born in Montague February 17, 1943, the daughter of Peter and Eva (Bartus) Pos. She attended Erving Schools and graduated from Mahar Regional High School in 1960.
Pauline had been the Head Cook at the Erving Elementary School for many years. Then she entered the banking business with Greenfield Saving Bank starting as a teller. She then worked her way up to Teller Supervisor for many years before moving onto the Athol Savings Bank as a Deposit Operations Clerk. Lastly Pauline operated her own day care, the Busy Bee from 2004-2012.
Pauline enjoyed making quilts for every member of her family, baking, with pies and cookies being her specialty, NASCAR, racing, following her grandchildren’s, sporting events and Boy Scout functions. Pauline loved spending time with her family. She hosted many holidays, from small BBQs to sit down meals. Pauline loved flowers. She enjoyed working in her flower garden made by her son Gene. She loved to travel having taken four cross country trips seeing national parks and The Field of Dreams. She was a former member of the Millers Falls Drum and Bugle Corp for many years and later became a judge at Drum Corp competitions. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Peace Church and was formally a member of St. John’s Church in Millers Falls where she served has a Eucharistic Minister.
Pauline leaves her husband Stanley of over 60 years, her daughter Valerie Felton, her son Jeffrey Klepadlo; her grandchildren, Sarah Skiffington (Lee), Julianna Yetter (Christopher), Emilee Rybczyk (Jack), Jeremy Klepadlo (fiancé Alexandra Durant) and Kimberly Hathaway, her great grandchildren; Hannah, Camden, Kensley, Dakota and DJ. She also leaves her siblings; Paul Pos, Theresa James, Barbara Pos, Deborah Porlier (Gary) and her sister in-law Shirley Klepadlo. Besides her parents Pauline was predeceased by her son Gene Klepadlo and his wife Elsie, son in-law David Felton and her grandson Donald Hathaway.
A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held Monday December 11, 2023 at 10 AM at Our Lady of Peace Church with Rev. Stanley Aksamit pastor officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery in Millers Falls. There are no calling hours.
