Paul M. Bowe

Paul M. Bowe, 89, of South St. and formerly of Greenfield passed away June 11, 2025, at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. He was born in Montague on March 27, 1936, the son of James and Kathleen (Shirtcliff) Bowe. Paul attended local schools and graduated from Greenfield High School in 1954.          

He enlisted in the US Air Force June 30, 1954, and was with the 614th USAF Dispensary. Paul was honorably discharged December 9, 1957, at the rank of A/2C.

He was a nurse at the Jamaica Plain VA Medical Center in Boston for many years retiring in 2017.          

He enjoyed reading, planes and held a Pilot’s License.    

He is survived by his brother John (Pauline) Bowe of Florence and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held Wednesday June 25, 2025, from 8:30 AM- 9:30 AM at Kostanski Funeral Home 220 Federal St. Greenfield followed by A Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 AM at Blessed Trinity Parish/Blessed Sacrament Church 221 Federal St. Greenfield. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
