Patrick M. Otto, 75, of Turner St. died peacefully at home with family by his side on Friday (3-12-21). He was born in Montague on May 24, 1945 the son of John and Gladys (Welcome) Otto. Pat attended local schools and graduated from Greenfield High School.
Pat was employed by the Town of Deerfield starting at the landfill then moving to the Department of Public Works retiring in August 2007. Previously he worked for B & M railroad. He was a Vietnam Air Force Veteran.
Pat enjoyed walking, taking his dogs for rides and traveling to Maine. He volunteered on the Lake Pleasant Water Department and helped maintain the pickets on the Bridge of Names.
Pat leaves his children, Patrick Otto and his fiance' Nicki, Lisa Tompsett and her husband George, Denise Lemieux and her husband Brad, Dennis Welcome and his wife Susan and James Welcome and his wife Teresa. He is also survived by his siblings, Alma Denison and Benjamin Otto, plus several grandchildren and great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents Pat was predeceased by his wife Kathleen in 2016 and his brothers John Otto and Robert Otto.
A memorial service will be announced at a later time and date.
