Patricia Ann (Creek) Varilly, 85, died Sunday 4/27/25 at RegalCare in Greenfield.  She was born in Colrain on October 24, 1939, the daughter of Robert and Marjorie (Hubley) Creek. 

In her younger years, Pat was a teacher’s aide and a secretary at the Farren Hospital Lab.  She then was a secretary for the District Attorney’s office in Greenfield before her retirement.

Family meant everything to Pat, she loved nothing more than spending time together laughing and joking. She enjoyed golf, crosswords, Suduko, and playing cards with the ladies. She and Jim loved traveling the world – those memories bringing many smiles & stories through the years.   

Among her survivors, Pat leaves her daughter, Eileen Reardon of Sunderland; nine grandchildren, Thomas and Adam O’Sullivan, Meaghan Handley (Nathan Holloway), Christopher (Angela) and Daniel (Lydia) Varilly, Kellie Bishop (Gregory), Taylor Weir (Christopher) and Bryan (Kate) and Michael (Shayna) Reardon; twelve great grandchildren; five sisters, Roberta, Margaret, Nancy, Kathy and Lori; a brother, Terry; and several nieces and nephews.

Pat was predeceased by her beloved husband of fifty six years, James Varilly, Sr. in 2013, her three sons, James Varilly, Jr. in 2006, Daniel Varilly in 2019 and David Varilly in 2023; as well as her brother Robert Creek Jr. in 1968.

A Memorial Mass will be held Monday 5/5 at 11:30am at Blessed Trinity Parish, Blessed Sacrament Church, 221 Federal Street, Greenfield.  Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Greenfield.

There will be no calling hours.
