Olivia A. Holmes

Olivia A. Holmes, 26, of Greenfield MA., died in the early morning Sunday 1/9/22 at the Baystate Medical Center in Springfield.  She was born on November 8, 1995, the beautiful and precious daughter of Dennis and Carrie (Doolittle) Holmes.  Olivia enjoyed her childhood growing up in Greenfield and was a graduate of Greenfield High School. 

Libby started working at local restaurants as a teenager. She loved being a waitress and meeting so many customers and coworkers who became friends.  

She loved the New York Yankees and looked forward to attending games with her family, especially on bobblehead giveaway days. Her father will miss her texting with him during the games, or whenever a big trade was made. 

Besides her parents, Dennis and Carrie, Olivia leaves a son, Jacob Torres, Jr. who she loved and adored, and two brothers, Wade and Willem Holmes of Greenfield. She was also cherished and loved by her paternal grandmother, Karen Holmes Miner and her husband Todd of Greenfield; paternal grandfather, Dennis Billiel and his wife Tamara of Jefferson City, TN.; maternal grandparents, Helen and Christopher Doolittle of Turners Falls; her aunt, Loretta Doolittle and uncle, Guy Kellum of Greenfield; uncle, Christopher Holmes of Greenfield; uncle, Jon Holmes and aunt, Michelle Candello of Winchester, NH. She will be missed by her partner, Justin Page and his family plus almost one hundred cousins, great aunts and great uncles who loved and supported her and continue to do so even in death.   

Olivia was predeceased by her baby brother, Spencer Holmes, and more recently her great aunts Nancy (Stevens) Martynowski and Joanne Stevens. 

The family is planning to announce a celebration of her life at a later date.
