Nyka M. Sanders

Nyka M. Sanders, 20, of Bernardston Rd. died Wednesday, December 19, 2018 in Greenfield.
She was born in Springfield, MA on August 2, 1998 the daughter of Thomas Sanders and Rosa Cruz.
Nyka attended Greenfield Schools. She was employed as an Aide for Stavros Healthcare.
Nyka enjoyed spending time with her family and friends including spending time in nature and going on spontaneous adventures with those she loved. She was planning on continuing her education and looked forward to being a nurse in the future. She was also artistic and enjoyed drawing, painting and photography. The self-portraits and nature shots she took are stunning. She also loved riding and working with horses as a child and teenager.
She leaves her parents Thomas David Sanders Sr., 55, of Greenfield, Rosa Maria Cruz Rivera, 47, of Chicopee, her brother Thomas David Sanders Jr, 25, of RI., and his spouse Kelsey Sanders as well her step mother Margaret Susan Sanders 59, her paternal grandmother Marianne Sanders of Greenfield, her maternal grandmother Rosa Maria Cruz Rivera of Springfield, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many many friends.
A Private Celebration of Life will be held Monday December 31, 2018 at 11 AM at Kostanski Funeral Home 1 Kostanski Square Turners Falls, MA.
