Nancy J. Watroba, 67, of West St. passed away Friday (1-14-22) at Charlene Manor Extended Care Facility in Greenfield. Nancy was born September 21, 1954 in Greenfield the daughter of Chester and Marilyn (Warsawski) Watroba.
She attended local schools and graduated from Turners Fall High School and a graduate of UMASS with a degree in Molecular Biology. Nancy was active in her family businesses as a member of Watroba’s Market and the Watroba Farm in Montague. She was an avid horse lover, she loved swimming and running. Nancy was committed to her faith and recited the rosary in dedication.
She was a favorite aunt to her many nieces and nephews and will be missed by all of them. Nancy leaves her mother Marilyn Watroba of Montague and her brothers and sisters, Paul, Peter, Robert, Marilyn, Stephanie and Hope, and countless nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her father Chester Sr., and four brothers, Chester Jr., Todd, Jeffrey and John Watroba.
Funeral services will be Thursday (1-20-22) at 10 AM at Kostanski Funeral Home 1 Kostanski Square Turners Falls. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Czestochowa Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Wednesday (1-19-22) from 5-7 PM. Also, a calling hour will be held from 9-10 AM prior to Nancy’s services on Thursday.
