Michael C. Kochan

Michael C. Kochan, 57, died Wednesday 10/6/21 at home.  He was born in Greenfield on June 3, 1964, the son of Louis J. and Dorothy Mae (Call) Kochan.  Michael attended local schools in Greenfield and was a graduate of Greenfield High School Class of 1982.
He continued his education at Greenfield Community College.
Michael was a cashier and gas clerk at Stop & Shop in Greenfield. 
He enjoyed watching Boston Bruins and Red Sox games.
Among his survivors, Michael leaves four sisters, Margaret Bourbeau and her husband Bill of Greenfield, Miriam Canedy and her husband Francis of Conway, Dorothy Mae Abbey and her husband David of Greenfield and Dorothy Joan Urbanavage and her husband John of Bethlehem, PA; a brother, James Kochan of Greenfield; and numerous nieces and nephews. 
Besides his parents, Michael was predeceased by his brothers Robert, Stephen and Thomas Kochan. 
Funeral services will be private. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.  
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Boston Children’s Hospital, 300 Longwood Ave, Boston, MA 02115.
