Maureen ‘Mo’ (McDonald) Dudek, 85, of Greenfield, Massachusetts passed away peacefully into the hands of the lord on Sunday, November 10, 2024, at Baystate Franklin Medical Center in Greenfield, MA after a long, valiant battle with cancer. She was born on December 4, 1938, in Montague, MA and graduated from Greenfield High School, class of 1956.

For nearly fifty years, Mo was a Laboratory Technician at Baystate Franklin Medical Center. Mo enjoyed traveling, especially to Northport, FL where she had a winter home and many loving friends. Mo loved card games, yard sales, knitting, gardening, eating out and adventures with her sons.

She is predeceased by her parents James and Lillian (Suda) McDonald of Greenfield, MA and late husband Frank Dudek of Turners Falls.  

Mo's family includes her sons, Frank Dudek (Kelly) of Greenfield, MA and John Dudek of Greenfield, MA a grandson Dillon Dudek (Julie) of Gill, two great granddaughters Kaelynn Dudek and Piper Dudek of Gill. Siblings Sheila Ranaldi (Rico) of Newburgh, NY; Jim McDonald (Gale) of Norwalk, CT; Larry McDonald (Mary) of Jamestown, RI as well as Ted McDonald (Marina) of Surprise, AZ as well as many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday November 18, 2024, at 9:15am at the Kostanski Funeral Home, 220 Federal Street, Greenfield followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10am at Blessed Trinity Parish, Holy Trinity Church, 133 Main Street, Greenfield. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Greenfield.
