Mary Ann C. (Sokoloski) Wallitis Obituary

Mary Ann C. (Sokoloski) Wallitis, 83, of James Avenue died Saturday 3/15/25 at home. She was born in Montague on December 10, 1941, the daughter of Stephen and Grace (Strysko) Sokoloski.  Mary Ann attended local schools in Montague and was a graduate of Turners Falls High School Class of 1959.  
She was a secretary at the Millers Falls Tool Company. Mary Ann also worked for various local grocery stores. 
She loved fishing and going to the casino.  In her younger years, she enjoyed bowling. Most of all, Mary Ann loved her family. 
Among her survivors, Mary Ann leaves her beloved husband of sixty-two years, Charles Wallitis; her sister, Henrietta “Etta” Wallitis (Robert); four grandchildren; and one great granddaughter. 
Besides her parents, Mary Ann was predeceased by her two daughters, Jane Grover and Stephanie Pine; and her brother, Stephen Walter Sokoloski. 
Funeral service will be private.  Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
