Mary W. Hoynoski passed away at the age of 104 in Boca Raton, FL on June 13, 2023. Mary was born on December 27, 1918 to Maximilian and Mary (Ostrowski) Gorski on the family farm in Whately, MA. She married Carl S. Hoynoski in 1942 and they lived in Turners Falls, MA. They were avid polka dancers their whole lives. Carl passed away in 1996.

In 1999 Mary moved to Boca Raton, FL to be with her son Carl. With her son Carl she traveled to 85 Countries, visited all 7 Continents, sailed 6 of the 7 Oceans and visited 4 of the 7 Wonders of the World: The Great Wall of China twice; Stonehenge in England; The Pyramids of Giza in Egypt and the Statue of Christ the Redeemer in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

She is survived by her son Carl (Martha) T. Hoynoski of Boca Raton, FL, her daughter Karen Maxine Haynes of Huntington Beach, CA, her sister Helen Rotkiewicz of South Deerfield, MA, her grandson Carl (Jodi) T. Hoynoski II of Gill, MA and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday June 20, 2023 at 9:15am at the Kostanski Funeral Home, 1 Kostanski Square, Turners Falls, MA 01376 followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10am at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 84 K Street, Turners Falls. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Czestochowa Cemetery in Turners Falls and a luncheon will be held after the burial at the French King Restaurant 129 French King Hwy, Erving, MA 01344.
