Marion C. Sak, 94, of Elm Terrace died Friday 10/29/21 at home. She was born in Greenfield on April 8, 1927, the daughter of Walter and Karoline (Skowron) Sak. Marion attended local schools in Greenfield and was a graduate of Greenfield High School Class of 1946. Marion was a resident of Greenfield for most of her life.
Marion was an inspector at Lunt’s Silversmith for thirty four years before her retirement in 1981.
Marion was a communicant of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church in Turners Falls, where she was also a former choir member, a member of the Holy Rosary Society and the Polish National Alliance.
She enjoyed the greenfield swimming pool, traveling, especially her trips to Europe and Maine, and eating out with family and friends.
Marion was a kind, loving person and her family is more than thankful for having her for so many years. Love you forever, Cioci.
Marion is survived by a nephew, Steven Sak of VT; a niece, Dorothy Juskiewicz of ME; a niece, Diane Guenette of Turners Falls, and several other nieces and nephews.
A Liturgy of Christian Burial was held on Tuesday 11/9 at 10am at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 84 K Street, Turners Falls. Burial followed at the parish cemetery in Turners Falls.
Marion’s family would like to thank all of her devoted care takers who showed her love and compassion every day.
