Marilyn J. Burns

Marilyn J. Burns, 69, of Meadow St. passed away Tuesday April 18, 2023, at Baystate Franklin Medical center in Greenfield. She was born in Turners Falls January 21, 1954, the daughter of Robert and Doris (Welcome) Burns.
 Marilyn attended local school and graduated from Turners Falls High School the class of 1973. She was a candlemaker at Yankee Candle for many years. She enjoyed crocheting, coffee, coloring, fishing and watching birds.
Marilyn is survived by her fiancé and life partner of 30 years Laurence “Larry” Cloutier, her mother Doris Burns of Turners Falls, her sons; Jon Vlach and his wife Trista of Greenfield, Christopher Vlach and his fiance’ Jennifer Selivanoff of Northfield, Robert Vlach and his fiance’ Salena Winston of Northfield, two stepsons, Jon Cloutier and Jeffrey Cloutier both of NC, five grandchildren Alexander Golembeski, Sadie Selivanoff, Brady Selivanoff , Abbie Selivanoff and Misty Winston. Marilyn also leaves (brother and sisters) and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her father and her sister Cheryl Rogers.
A memorial service will be held Friday (5/12/23) at 10AM at Kostanski Funeral Home 1 Kostanski Sq. Turners Falls, MA 01376.  Burial will follow at Springdale Cemetery.
