Louise Hoynoski

South Deerfield- Louise Janet (Krusiewski) Hoynoski graced the world with her presence on Decemeber 2, 1934.  She departed from us on Wednesday 1/24/18 at the age of 83.  Born in Northfield, MA she was the first daughter of the late Chester A. and Bernice (Cichy) Krusiewski of Millers Falls.  Louise grew up in Millers Falls, where she was a former member of the Millers Falls Drum Corp.   Louise attended Highland School and was a graduate of Turners Falls High School, Class of 1952. 

 She did secretarial work and hostess work for the former Gable and Lamp Lighter Restaurants.  Doing secretarial work in the UMass Athletic department office was a pleasure for her. 

Louise enjoyed cooking- chocolate fudge, strawberry rhubarb jam, golumpkies and her favorite, dill pickles.  She enjoyed latch hooking, knitting, craft work, word search puzzles and shopping.  Atkins family market was her favorite store.  Louise enjoyed sending and receiving all occasion cards to make you smile.  She was fond of Country and Polish music.  She was a New York Yankees and UMass Basketball fan and she enjoyed the fall season. 

On November 23, 1957, Louise married Robert Hoynoski.  The ceremony took place at St. John’s Church in Millers Falls and the Mass was preformed by the late Henry Krezka, cousin of the bride.  They celebrated sixty years of marriage on November 23, 2017.

Louise touched countless others with her kindness and started and ended each day with a smile, a thank you, an I love you or a kind word. 

Louise is survived by her loving husband Robert of South Deerfield; a daughter, Cindy of New York; a sister, Barbara of Millers Falls;  three nephews, Steven, Michael and David Krusiewski; and two brother in laws, Edwin “Jim” and Stanley Hoynoski. 

Louise was predeceased by her loving parents, Chester and Bernice Krusiewski; her only brother, Chester L.; sister in law, Barbara E. Krusiewski; brother in laws Henry, Eugene, Alfred, William, Chester and Sally Hoynoski (Kusek) Galler; sister in laws, Laura, Lucy, Lydia, Irene, Estelle and Mary Hoynoski. 

Louise’s motto was “always live life to the fullest and to be kind”.  She did exactly that. 

Funeral services and burial will be private.

At Louise’s request there will be no calling hours.
