Linda L. (Downes) (Bordeaux) Emond, 79, of Myrtle Beach, SC passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at the home of her son Ty with her family by her side.
She was born in Greenfield May 13, 1945, the daughter of Irvin Downes and Marion (Pine) Downes Rockwell.
Linda enjoyed spending time with her family and caring for others. She liked crossword puzzles, games, reading, and crocheting. Linda was known for opening her heart and home to those in need of guidance.  
She is survived by her husband Lester of 39 years, her children, Dawn (Doug) Dubay, Ty (Shannon) Bordeaux, Tracy (Roxanne) Bordeaux. Her 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, her brother David Downes, and sister Dulcie Larange, as well as several cousins, and nieces and nephews. 
Besides her parents, Linda was predeceased by her brother Charles and her sister Diane. 
Linda was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. 
A graveside service will be held at Highland Cemetery in Millers Falls on Saturday, May 10th at 11 AM.
Memorial contributions may be made in Linda’s name to Pioneer Valley Hospice & Palliative Care.
