Linda J. Edwards

Linda J. Edwards, 69, of Cummington, passed away Sunday, July 24th, 2022 at home. She was born in Dennison, Ohio on March 26, 1953, the daughter of Lawrence and Joanne (Mahaffey) Edwards. Linda graduated in 1971 from Claymont High School in Uhrichsville, Ohio. 
Linda was a bookkeeper before getting married, but she always considered raising her children and spending time with her grandchildren to be her best and most important jobs. She enjoyed traveling by plane to see her daughters and her long phone conversations with her siblings and best friends. Some of her favorite pastimes were enjoying Texas Roadhouse with her family, playing cards, and being outdoors.
Among her survivors, Linda leaves three daughters, Heather Jaracz and her husband Tomasz of Massachusetts, Laurie Thompson of Ohio, and Dianna Kussmaul and her husband Jason of Arkansas. Eleven grandchildren, Joanna, Faustyna, Adam, Florian, Kazimierz, Filomena, Teresa, Ignatius, Brianna, Cohen, and Abigail; a sister, Jeanette Jones and her husband George of Ohio; a brother, Eric Edwards of Florida; and all her loving nieces and nephews. 
She was predeceased by her former husband Stephen Thompson, her granddaughter Brooke Woolums, and her brother Larry Edwards. 
A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held Friday, July 29 at 11am at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 84 K Street, Turners Falls. Burial will be at the West Union Cemetery in Gilmore, Ohio.
 A calling hour will be held Friday morning from 9:45 to 10:45am at the Kostanski Funeral Home, 1 Kostanski Square, Turners Falls.
