Linda L. Caouette

Linda Louise Caouette passed into Eternal Life on August 21 , 2021 while residing at the Atrium at Cardinal Drive, Agawam from complications of Parkinson’s disease. She was born in Montague, MA on July 11, 1949, the daughter of the late Leo and Glenyth (Ward) Caouette. She was raised in Gill and attended local schools. She was a graduate of Fitchburg State College School of Nursing receiving a BS in Nursing in 1971.

Linda was a resident of South Deerfield until 2016 when she was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease and then moved to Agawam to be closer to family. She had been employed at Bay State/Franklin Medical Center, Greenfield as a nurse, for many years, spending much of her career in the oncology department and retiring in 2012.

She enjoyed music, art, traveling, and spending time with family, friends and her granddog Finn.

Linda is survived by her daughter, Lauren Mendoza and her wife Melanie Mendoza of Feeding Hills; a brother, Gene Caouette and his spouse Robert Andreoli of Springfield; an uncle, Kenneth Caouette of Greenfield MA, along with numerous cousins and many dear friends and some select few that she loved as family.

Linda’s family would like to thank the staff at the Atrium at Cardinal Drive for their compassion, dedication and quality of care provided Linda while under their care with special thanks to Brandi, Gabby and Scott.

Funeral services will be held Saturday 8/28 at 10am at the Kostanski Funeral Home, 1 Kostanski Square, Turners Falls. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Gill.  

Family and friends are invited to visiting hours on Friday 8/27 from 4-7pm at the funeral home in Turners Falls.
