Kyle Johnson Obituary

Kyle J. Johnson, 37, of Devens Street died Tuesday 9/7 /21 at home. He was born in Greenfield on August 27, 1984, the son of Ward and Kimberly (Lewis) Johnson. Kyle attended local schools in Greenfield. Kyle was a warm, loving, and kindhearted soul.
In Kyle's younger years he had an overwhelming collection of basketball cards, remote control cars and trains. Kyle loved watching Sesame Street while on his Big Wheel or rocking horse.
If you knew Kyle, he took pride in his appearance. Kyle was an avid shopper always dressing in designer clothes, gold jewelry and the cleanest sneakers. Kyle loved going to the gym every day. Bike riding, snowboarding and anything computer related. Kyle was very smart and technical when it came to any computer problems.
Throughout Kyle's life from birth to the end he struggled with Leukemia when he was just 2 years old, addiction during his teen age and adult years but Kyle stayed strong, helpful, and high spirited throughout all his challenges. Kyle looked to God throughout his struggles, attended church and depended greatly on his mother who encouraged him to be his best every day. Kyle and his mother were very connected. AdCare Hospital gave Kyle much strength and assistance. Because of this, the family would like contributions to an addiction facility of choice or to a Leukemia society or AdCare Hospital at 107 Lincoln St, Worcester MA.
Among his survivors, Kyle leaves his mother, Kimberly Johnson of Greenfield; his father, Ward Johnson of Brattleboro, VT; his brother, Eli Johnson and his wife Lauren and their children Alexis and Colby of Brookline, NH; his sister, Emma Brear and her husband Mark Jr. of Northfield; his maternal grandfather, Bruce Lewis and his wife Marjorie of Hudson, NH; maternal grandmother, Barbara Ryan of Amherst; five uncles, Bob Mattson and his wife Beth of Greenfield, Bruce Lewis, and Daniel, Michael and Andrew Johnson; two aunts, Bethany and Melody Johnson; and several cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday September 14, 2021, at 2pm at the Calvary Baptist Church, 10 Prospect Street, Turners Falls. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
