Kelly Deziell Obituary
Kelly Lynn (Decato) Deziell, 53, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday (05-06-26) at Baystate Franklin Medical Center in Greenfield, Ma, while hand in hand with her beloved husband, Mikele.
Born on April 9, 1973 in Greenfield, Ma, Kelly was the daughter of Philip and Linda (Merrifield) Decato. She was a 1991 graduate of Greenfield High School. She married the love of her life, Mikele Deziell, at the Greenfield Faith Baptist Church on March 15, 2014. They enjoyed 12 years of happy marriage sharing in each others joys and passions. Kelly also raised two beautiful girls, Clairese and Calla Bourdeau, whom she loved and cherished with every fiber of her being.
Kelly worked at a local pet store during her high school years, after high school she worked at Wesco, Inc. in Greenfield for several years before working for Heat Fab, Inc. in Turners Falls. She later went back to school to become a licensed Massage Therapist, in which she graduated with high honors. This was a dream come true for Kelly. She eventually owned her own practice called; Servant’s Hands Massage Therapy. She truly loved serving people and helping them to be free from pain. She was benevolent in all her ways and very often gave free massages to those who couldn’t otherwise afford them. Kelly passionately loved animals of all kinds and many wounded or helpless creatures found their way into her loving care for help or rehabilitation. She especially loved her darling doves that she raised with her husband Mikele.
Kelly was equally passionate about people. She saw the good in every person she ever met, if you knew Kelly, you were her friend and she was your biggest fan.
Above all her passions, Kelly was a lover of Jesus Christ her Savior and was forever sharing God’s love with those around her. Kelly lived out her faith, not out of duty but out of love to her Lord. She truly was a helper to the helpless and an encourager to the disheartened soul. She treasured her trips to Maine with family and friends every year. Kelly cherished time spent with her daughters, especially days set aside for special birthday celebrations. She was zealous about food and loved it in all its forms, from fruit to ice cream, home cooked meals to fast food. Good company and food always went hand and hand for her. Kelly endured her latest health trials with patience and contentment and to answer her recent question; Yes, Kelly, you suffered well!
Her source of strength was in knowing she would spend eternity in the presence of her Savior where there is fullness of joy and pleasures forevermore. Kelly faithfully attended the Greenfield Alliance Church in her youth, and in recent years she attended Living Waters Assembly of God, and the Green River Bible Church. Kelly will be greatly missed by her family and friends, until they meet again.
Kelly leaves behind her dear husband: Mikele; Two adored daughters: Clairese and Calla Bourdeau; a loving father: Philip Decato; a brother: Keith Decato (wife Kathleen); a sister: Karena Kimberley (husband Shawn); four well-loved nieces and nephews: Ryan Decato, Cassandra Decato, Shea Kimberley, and Caleb Kimberley; father and mother- in-law: Daniel and Janice Conlin, father and mother-in-law: Paul and Pamela Bourbeau; Brother and sister-in-laws: Michelle Caronna, Troy Conlin, Jana Bertera, Daren Conlin, and Richard Grzwoc; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews from both sides of the family, all of whom she loved and cared for.
