Kathleen Mary Ladd, 67, of Greenfield, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 29, 2021 at the Fisher Hospice Home in Amherst, MA, with her sons by her side. She was born in Greenfield on December 26, 1953, the daughter of James and Mary (McCarthy) O’Neil.

Kathy loved gardening and flowers, bird watching, hiking, and most important to her was spending time with family and friends. Kathy lived her life with a constant ambition to be kind and help others; never forgetting a birthday, anniversary, or the special little things about someone that made them happy.

Kathy is survived by her four boys, Ben (Tracy), Matt (Melissa), Jon, and Dan; grandchildren, Colin and Kennedy; siblings, Kevin (Linda), Sheila (Dale), Maureen (Michael), Mary (Jeff), Tommy (Judy), John (Maryann), and Peggy (Mark); and numerous cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Jamie O’Neil.

At Kathy’s request, the family will hold a private celebration of life.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choosing.
