June E. (Powers) Wilkins

June E. (Powers) Wilkins, 94, died Wednesday 8/7/19 at her home. She was born on June, 19, 1925 at the Farren Memorial Hospital in Turners Falls, the daughter of Edward and Elizabeth (Mayhew) Powers.
She attended elementary school in "Ervingside" Millers Falls and was a graduate from Turners Falls High School Class of 1943.
She was married to Robert L. Wilkins on June 16, 1945. He predeceased her in 2013.
June is survived by her five sons, Dennis of St. Bonaventure, NY; Jeffrey of Greenfield; Bruce and his wife Kathy (Akey) of Greenfield; Kevin and his wife Jody (Miller) of Carlsbad, CA; and Scott and his wife Lisa (Laurie) of Carver, MA. She also leaves behind 10 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and her sister Patricia of Chevy Chase, MD.
June was a volunteer at the Franklin County Hospital with the Junior Branch, and was active with the Junior Follies for several years. She was also involved with the Franklin County Agricultural Society for more than 50 years and served on the Board of Directors.
A memorial graveside service will be held at a date and time to be announced.
