Judith E. (Kuzmeski) Verchot

Judith E. (Kuzmeski) Verchot, 66, of Bridge Street died Tuesday 11/8/2022 at home. She was born in Northampton on November 6, 1956, the daughter of Alfred & Delia. 
Judith was a Maintainer II at the University of Massachusetts, retiring after twenty-six years of service. Prior to that, she was a CNA and a Home Health Aid for many years. 
Judith was an avid baseball fan, of the Boston Red Sox. Judith also loved camping in the summers, she loved watching hummingbirds in season. Most of all, Judith loved spending time with her family; especially her grand & great-grand kids, “My babies” as she called them. 
 Among her survivors, Judy leaves her daughter, Tina Verchot, and her son-in-law Jacobo Roque of Millers Falls; two grandchildren Janelle Verchot of Ware, MA and Colton Roque of Millers Falls; 5 great-grandchildren, Christopher, Lincoln, Aubrienna, Zayden, and Braelynn; her life partner, Harry Chapin; her sister Maryann Matusko, of North Carolina, Joan Wilkes, of Chicopee, Patricia Desrosiers, of New Salem, and her sister Barbara Jackson, of East Hampton. Judy also leaves behind her brothers Michael Kuzmeski, of Cummington, and Charles Kuzmeski, of East Hampton; and many nieces and nephews. 
Judy was predeceased by her brother Donald Kuzmeski, and Alfred Kuzmeski Jr. 
A memorial service will be held Saturday 06/17/23 at 2pm at the Kostanski Funeral Home, 220 Federal St. Greenfield, MA 01301.
