Judy L. (Jock) Hastings, 75, of Randall Rd. passed away Tuesday May 6, 2025, at Baystate Franklin Medical Center. She was born in Malone, NY the daughter of Elwin and Marjorie (LaFlesh) Jock. She attended local schools and graduated from Chicopee Comprehensive High School. She also attended Greenfield Community College. Judy worked at the Franklin County Court House. Then she worked at the Greenfield Housing Authority where she became the Director of Leased Housing until her retirement. Judy enjoyed sewing and doing craft shows for many years. She liked traveling the east coast and staying at different campgrounds in their Coachman. For over 20 years Judy and her husband camped at Peaceful Pines Campground in Templeton. She enjoyed making yearly trips to Virginia Beach where her and her husband had their honeymoon. Judy enjoyed helping others through her involvement with the Montague and Gardner Elks, where she was a Past Exalted Ruler (President). Judy was a member of the Board for the Montague Housing Authority.

Judy leaves her husband of 40 years Kevin J. Hastings, her daughter Jeannine Huey of Feeding Hills, her sister Betty Reil of Huntington, Quebec, Canada, and her grandsons; Kyle Hastings and Dmitri Huey and many family members including several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents Judy was predeceased by her son Jimmy Hastings and her brother Elwin Jock.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday June 7, 2025, at 10AM at Our Lady of Peace Church 90 Seventh St. Turners Falls, MA with the Rev. Stanley Aksamit, pastor officiating. At Judy’s request there are no calling hours.
