Joseph Philip Krejmas, Jr., 84, died Tuesday 2/18/25 at the Charlene Manor Extended Care Facility in Greenfield.  He was born in Montague on October 26, 1940, the son of Joseph P. and Ann (Pryzbyla) Krejmas, Sr.  He graduated from Turners Falls High School in 1958.

Joseph was a machinist at Lunt Silversmith in Greenfield for many years until his retirement. He was an avid builder, built his own home in Gill, made furniture and was a fixer of things. He enjoyed aircraft and logged many flying hours at the Turners Falls Airport. He loved traveling to the White Mountains in New Hampshire and to Europe.

Besides his beloved wife of thirty -six years, Constance (Vitale) Krejmas, Joe leaves three daughters, Karen DeJoy and her husband Tony, of Templeton, MA, Kathe Giunta and her husband John, of West Bridgewater, MA, and Lisa Krejmas, of Thompson, CT; a son, Greg Krejmas and his wife Michelle, of Indian Trail, NC; a step son, Joseph Vitale and his wife Maria, of Maryland. He leaves six grandchildren, Brian and Sarah DeJoy, Christina Morin and her husband George, Matthew Whiteman, Jacob Whiteman and his wife, Kerryn, Tyler Krejmas, and Isabella Vitale. He leaves four great grandchildren, Hailey, Eric, Maya, and Autumn; and two sisters, Annette Krejmas and Elaine Krejmas, both of Gill. Joe was predeceased by his first wife, Elaine A. Krejmas in 1986 and his infant son, Thomas James in 1969.

A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday 2/25 at 11am at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 84 K Street, Turners Falls.  Burial will follow at the parish cemetery.

A calling hour will be held Tuesday morning from 9:30-10:30am at the Kostanski Funeral Home, 1 Kostanski Square, Turners Falls.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 84 K St., Turners Falls, MA.
