Obituary

John A. Bieniek Jr., 67, of Congress St. died Thursday April 6, 2023 at home. He was born in Turners Falls April 17, 1955 the son of John Bieniek Sr and Lois (Oates) Thompson.

Living in Maine in his younger years John attended schools there and graduated from Caribou High School in 1975. He was a machinist for Kennametal for many years. Previously he worked for AGWAY Feed.

John enjoyed spending time with his family especially fishing and boating with his sons and playing poker with his friends.

John leaves his sons; Nicolas Bieniek of Northampton, Justin Bieniek of Millers Falls, his siblings; Joseph Bieniek and his wife Mary of Worcester, Robert Bieniek of Florida, Mary Stebbins and her husband Daniel of Bernardston, Patricia Sawtelle and her boyfriend Hank Kaiser of Heath, Tracy Bieniek and her boyfriend John of Florida and Duane Thompson and his wife Dawn of Maine. He also leaves his granddaughter Jamie Bieniek and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents John was predeceased by his brother James.

Services will be private and at the convenience of his family.

Arrangements are under the direction of Kostanski Funeral Home.
