Jennie M. (Wagner) Smith

Jennie M. Smith, 93, of Davis St. in Greenfield, passed away surrounded by family on Monday, March 18th at Charlene Manor in Greenfield.  Jennie was born in Greenfield, November 11, 1930, to Lillian and Frank Wagner. She attended local schools in Greenfield. 
Jennie married Edgar Smith in Greenfield on June 13, 1948, and they were married for 75 years. 
Over the years, Jennie worked at McClellan’s and Erving Paper Mill, but later cared for her children Ron, Gary and Tina. She loved to cook and sew. They lived in Turners Falls and after retirement moved to Holden Beach, North Carolina then to Zephyrhills, Florida and traveled across the country visiting relatives. 
Survivors include her husband, Edgar, sons Ronald (Faye-Jean), Gary and daughter, Tina. She leaves grandchildren Taffy Ruggeri (Joey), Kelly Smith, Aubrey Chaverri (Jonathon), Ryan Smith, Jeff Putnam (Laura-partner) and great grandchildren Sophia Ruggeri, Anthony Ruggeri, Evelyn Smith, Violet Chaverri and Lyla Chaverri and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by son in law Paul Putnam.
Jennie was the last of the Wagner 8 siblings.
Funeral services will be private.  Burial will be held at the convenience the family.
