Jayne L. Stetson, 55, of Sunderland, MA, passed away on January 30, 2025. She was a woman of strength, wit, and unwavering love for her family.

Jayne had a deep love for the ocean, finding peace in the rhythm of the waves and the salty breeze. Music was always a part of her life—whether it was the heavy riffs of metal or the nostalgic croon of Elvis during Christmas, she found joy in the sounds that shaped her world.

Her faith was a guiding force, grounding her through life’s highs and lows. She cherished her family above all else, holding them close in laughter, love, and countless shared moments. Ever on a wellness journey, she was always seeking ways to improve herself—body, mind, and spirit—though she firmly believed balance meant making room for a bowl of Cocoa Pebbles.

With a dry humor that could catch anyone off guard, she had a way of making people laugh when they least expected it. Her wit was as sharp as her heart was kind, and her presence will be deeply missed but forever cherished.

Jayne lived boldly by the words, “Speak your mind, even if your voice shakes.” She was never one to back down from what she believed in, standing up for herself and those she loved with fierce devotion. Whether in quiet moments of honesty or in the face of life’s toughest challenges, she embraced the power of her own voice—undaunted, resilient, and unapologetically herself.

She is survived by her beloved children: Brianna Rice of South Deerfield, MA; Brian Stetson and his wife Morgan of Old Orchard Beach, ME; and Brandi Stetson of South Deerfield, MA. She also leaves behind her sister, Michelle Conant; her mother, Joan Paulin; as well as her cherished nieces, nephew, and cousins. Jayne was predeceased by her father, George Stetson, and her brother, Michael Stetson.

At this time, no services will be held. Her family asks that those who loved Jayne honor her memory in their own way, whether by listening to their favorite song, standing by the ocean, or simply sharing a laugh in her honor.
