Jane Ellen Polo, 68, of Hastings St. passed away Monday February 17, 2025, at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. She was born in Greenfield March 31, 1956, the daughter of Matthew N. and Harriet (Moore) Polo. Jane attended local schools and graduated from Greenfield High School Class of 1974.                     
She worked in the Alumni Gifts and Processing Department at UMASS Comptroller’s Office, Research and Accounting for 35 years.
Jane loved her cats and dogs and spending time with family and friends. She also enjoyed crafting including crocheting and jewelry making. Her happy place was the beach, and she loved to travel. 
She leaves her husband Kevin Olson of 33 years, her sisters; Ann Sweeney and husband Michael, Mary Butynski along with her brother; Matthew D. Polo plus several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 12PM on Sunday May 25, 2025, at the Olson family home, 202 Main Rd. Gill, MA 01354.
Memorial contributions in Jane’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society.
