James M. DiPaolo

Greenfield- James M. DiPaolo, 56, died Saturday 10/6/18 at the Highview Nursing Home in Leeds. He was born in Winthrop, MA on February 25, 1962, the son of Mario and Jane (Rothwell) DiPaolo.  He was a graduate of Dom Savio High School in East Boston and continued his education at Suffolk University.

Jimmy was in the collections department in the medical field.  He was also a stand up comedian.

He enjoyed comedy and screen writing.  Jimmy was an avid sports fan including the Vikings, Patriots and Red Sox.

Among his survivors, Jimmy leaves a son, Mario DiPaolo; a daughter, Sara DiPaolo, both of Greenfield; two sisters, Anne Crider of VA and Janet DiPaolo of CA; his ex wife, Carolyn Gargone; and many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Jimmy was predeceased by a brother, Robert DiPaolo and a sister, Marie Wall.

Funeral services will be private.  Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
